SHAWN PATRICK THOMAS

Shawn Patrick Thomas is a visual and performing artist based out of Southern California, USA. His projects and passions have taken him throughout the world, working on  creative and humanitarian projects in the United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East. Shawn is committed to using art, music, and performance to make a positive impact in individual's lives. He leads painting classes, as well as art-therapy session, with a hint of a spiritual focus. 

He is a prolific storyteller, musician, painter, actor and photographer, and has degrees in Music(AA), Art(BA), and Theology(MA).

Shawn's surfing photography is centered in Orange County, California, and specializes in capturing the candid adventures of everyday life in coastal Southern California. Shawn grew up in San Diego county where he spent most of his time on or in the ocean, either fishing with his dad or body surfing with his friends. His photography style reflects his love of the ocean, yet healthy fear of the incredible power of nature.

 

All of his work is motivated by the belief in using vulnerability and common experience as a means of connecting with people of different backgrounds for the purpose of reconciliation. Currently he serves on staff at Neighborhood Church in Cypress. In addition to being feature in a variety of venues in Orange and LA counties, his first studio produced album, “Together” was released in 2021 and is available on iTunes, Spotify, and anywhere you can download music.
